I recently inherited a coin/token/medal collection. In a box with a Chinese sycee (silver ingot),some Thai porcelain gambling coins and some Thai bullet money were these figurines. That would lead me to believe they are some kind of currency, but I cannot find anything like them online.

Is there an unusual design on the bottoms of these? They remind me of some ancient bronze seals/stamps I saw on pinterest. If you go to google and plug in Ancient China Dynasty Chinese Zodiac Animal Seal Stamp, and look at some of those they sort of resemble it. They were used as a stamper to seal (I assume wax) on whatever.
