private label watch...produced for these people by another sub-contract, company....looks a lot like a Hamilton :-)

Sorry slow with response.... Yep I guess you could say that...but " Private Label " watches were common practice. Usually was a store that sold array of different brands, with these types as "house" brand. Example of what I mean would be Montgomery Wards had several brands of watches, but also had a plain dial line with MW under the 12 produced by a "dollar" watch company and sold and warranty by Wards
