    It seems to be brittle like chalkware. It is slip cast, has two large breathing holes on the base. There are no other marks on it, just 'RT'. The plinth (wooden stand) has red felt on it.

      If it chalkware TC, you should be able to take your fingernail and make a small scratch that will show on the bottom......plus here is some more things
