I am hoping there are a few knowledgeable people on this forum that can shed some light on these three "signed Daum" fairy lamps. Actually, "candle lamps" is a much better description.
I published what little I know about these three lamps in 2008. For what it is worth, the article is on-line at:
www.fairy-lamp.com/Fairylamp/Daum_Fairy_Lamp.pdf
In addition, I put together a simple website with more detailed photos at:
www.fairy-lamp.com/Fairylamp/Daum_Fairy_lamps.html
I would dearly love to find documentation on these lamps. Or, if no documentation, an educated opinion is to the period of production and, of course, any judgement as to authenticity.
Thanks in advance for any information.
I will not give you any kind of expert opinion, I'll just say that I would not buy them as they do not look genuine enough for me. Daum has almost as many fakes out there as Galle, that said I don't recall seeing fake fairy lamps of any kind... very unusual pieces
Hi IMASapp - perhaps you can help me out with my little fairy lamp? Here it is: http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/169781-fairy-lamp-england-late-19th-cent?in=activity
