6 inches in diameter. Not quite sure what kind of flowers these are. I have tried mums, geraniums and daisies. No luck. If anyone know who the artist is and/or this exact plate, I could really use the help.

Maybe some of this info is helpful:

      http://tucson.com/entertainment/arts-and-theatre/finest-and-best-limoges-ware-will-always-sell-big/article_4e0c44f7-0620-53d7-9734-f30c7d524bbf.html

"Considering all the factories churning out product, Limoges dinnerware was made in huge quantities and variety. A look at replacements.com shows the immense number of dinnerware patterns marked Limoges.

In this case, a stamped circle of gold on the back of the reader’s plates tells the story. Reading “Art China,” it indicates that The Art China Decorating Company applied gold incrustation.

The blank is basic Limoges with a factory applied Colonial transfer or decal in the center of each plate. Similar decals are seen in other Limoges patterns.

To sum it up, the plates are American Limoges with hand painted gold incrustation. They were imports, made to be sold by a high-end American retailer."
