I found this one in my great grandmothers house about two years ago and I really don't know what it is or what it was used for. Can anyone help me

It seems like it could be a Spanish leather wrapped wine decanter/carafe/pitcher

There is also one similar looking item on pinterest with the similar description, although yours looks much older than these two.
