That looks like it was plaster cast from a real baby. Perhaps someone's child died and they had this done as a keepsake?
Well it is NOT a plaster mold of real baby and doubt it is baby Jesus as he is almost always shown with his 2 fingers up and no tee shirt only a cloth covering part of him . So it looks to be a modern decor piece perhaps for a nursery and it was in a cradle . Just my thoughts :-)
Ty katherinescollections for my laugh of the day. Doubt Jesus wore diapers which is what those look like to me. I am wondering if we are being trolled on this one. Linny is this a tease? If not can you tell us if it is plastic, stone or metal?
rucklczglass all the comments are welcome in dolls :-) I actually would say this is not a doll anyway it is a figure but we sure did not get much info like size ,what it is made of ect . Was a fair guess just like I did <wink>
I can see where one might think a nativity set so it was a shot at helping someone and that is what CW is all about :-) sometimes takes many people to figure out a item .
