I needed a small couch for my dogs and cats so I could reclaim my own recliners. I went to a local used furniture shop this past Tuesday and almost immediately spotted this one. It couldn't be more perfect! The cushion covers are completely removable. Artifort furniture - especially vintage designer pieces - run into a ton of money. This is a locally made piece (Maastricht). No idea if it is a designer piece (wouldn't that be nice!). It's a big hit with both the dogs and the cats!

~ I am sometimes scared about 2nd hand furniture these days -- as it seems globally there is a Bed Bug issue. Never used to be that way. At least when it get -40 below here, can always leave any used cloth furniture out for a day or two. That would freeze the little buggers....lol
Oh, I just wanted to say that -- as it appears this is now a New issue sometimes these days in the Collecting field. Never was a problem before -- or very Rare, but it seems *Global migration* has changed this a bit. So always best to take care on that issue on 2nd hand stuff. Still can find Good stuff from Mom and Pop stuff in store, and perfect things --- but one has to be a bit more careful sometimes these days..........just an FYI

One couch photo added, with one kitty and one doggie....I checked out this sofa while it was still in the store, and again after I got it home (that was an adventure). It was clean - no crumbs down in the creases or any marks on it. I vacuumed it good, too. The miniature chairs are all from flea markets. The small table in the middle is probably an antique, judging from the way it's built.

Two cats and two dogs - and all of them love the "new" mini-sofa! 90% of what is in my house is second hand. New is no fun....and very boring! I do draw the line at pillows, mattresses, socks and underwear -those are all bought new! :-)
Agree -- Everything in my home is older too. The Best way !!!
