Another $3 find at Urban Ore today. I think it's very beautiful. probably 30s or 40s? no? it stands 8" tall. does anyone recognize the mark? can you tell me whether it's Japanese or Chinese?

      what's unusual about the mark?

I think she meant the decor was unusual for a Chinese vase, not the mark. :)

thanks for the clarification katherinescollections and rucklczglass! have you found something about that particular mark? i'd love to find out a little more about it. someone in another group said that it was brand new from Taiwan, but i don't believe that it is - simply from the genuine ware on the base and inside it.
