Small is the new Big !!!!
You can probably find a spot for something small in between !!!
Well, that's my thinking.
I loved the shape of this little Jasba and the orange 'n green ticked a few boxes as well. On the net I was able to find out that Jasba referred to the initials of the business owner and the town of the factory: Jakob Schwaderlapp in Ransbach-Baumbach, near Koblenz in western Germany.
The designers that people talk about today are Cilli Wörsdörfer and Christiane Reuter. From what I've read this could be one of the designs of Cilli Wörsdörfer ... the matte glazed pieces are hers.
Jasba did a lot of the in vogue West German Lava pieces.
The company discontinued its art pottery lines in 1971 but still exists today as a producer of domestic ceramic tiles.
This vase is just 8cm or 3.15" tall.
