    This belonged to my grandfather who came to the US in early 1900's from Hungary/Austria. I'm just in the beginning stages of research and find the pipe to be a beautiful work of art!

      Beautiful carving and lovely family memory !
      It is made of meerschaum and mouth piece is certainly amber.
      What is inscrites on the box cover ?

      The case says: Genuine Meerschaum (3 stars in the middle of the crest) THREE STAR
