SCHEURICH BODENVASE KOSMOS FORM 263
This Floor Vase has held a collection of sticks and umbrellas for the last twenty years or so at the entrance to our apartment. A useful object. Big.
Beneath it bears the marks W-Germany and the design number 263 - 52. The 52 refers to the size of this version of the design. It came in a variety of colours. These days it is referred to as the 'Kosmos' or 'Sputnik' design.
I had a large-ish collection of Scheurich until we moved into the new digs fifteen years ago. I kept this vase because of its size and function.
Then a few weeks ago I came across another Scheurich floor vase that has replaced the Kosmos at the door. This one will have to go!
I still do not know who designed the Kosmos series.
Maybe someone at CW knows???
