Please help me. I have this old fan but its wood blade. Ive never seen a wood blade fan. It works and it is very old. I can barely make out the name westinghouse on it. Any info?

Probably home made blades.
Thats what I thought was a possibility as well. Is it worth anything?
I don't believe it does. The general condition doesn't seem to be good. This type of object must be in good original condition or well restored. Anyway, it is a curious object and would make a nice piece of decoration for someone. And you can always find the original blades and restore it yourself. Is there any other markings on it?

Yep thats it. So the original blades probly got damaged and were replaced with wood. Wow thats neat. Do you know how old it is?

Thats awesome so my fan is right at 100 years old. Sweet :)
Lube the front & rear bushings/bearings only with Marvel Mystery Oil. Absolutely nothing else works!
