I am posting for ONEGOODFINE to show the bottom of this vase. Even though it is concave, and kinda sloppy polished in the concave, around the concave -- is it kinda Mat (flat, grainy) looking?
This post is a Piece of Chinese Art Glass. I wanted to post it to show you and to ask you IF you base is Kinda like thie??

Yes I did. The vase with the Aventurine in it -- the concave on the bottom is not a perfect circle right? A little bit uneven around the concave circle?? Then just below that -- is it kinda flat mat ( grainy ) there?
If you can take a pic of the vase in front of an window, and angle it a bit, and try to take another pic -- so we can see a bit better yet.

I don't see the wavy part like your pic. It all looks smooth. I just can't hold it and take the pic correctly because of the weight. GRR. I'll take it to work and get someone to hold it and try again if you're not too fed up with it yet. I've tried flour and the filter dust in my sweeper and nothing sticks to it. I even crushed up some kitty litter. I've tried finger spit, water and nothing is working. :(
Relax and have some Coffee, to get your Spit back up to par...LOL.
~~You will learn how to get that angle pic of the bottom. Try holding it closer to a light source and on a angle. Your doing a GREAT JOB already!!
