glass pedestal bowl

Bought about 1955 in an antique store either in one of New England states near the Canadian border or on the Canadian side. The bowl is 8 .25 inches high and 9.75 wide across the top of bowl. The reason I think it's
quite old is that there are some naturally occurring imperfections in the
glass such as small bubbles and some noticeable lines or edges in the larger clear sections. Any information on this bowl much appreciated.
