Apple juice bakelite is a translucent swirl of yummy butterscotch yellow. Popular in late 40's-50's and used in poker chips, chrome serving tray handles, vanity boxes, jewelry and a whole lot more.
The 2nd picture is a serving tray handle (hole in it was screwed onto the tray or dish). Two of these are posted right now on ebay for $175 - ha! Because the opening is 2.5" it makes a beautiful bracelet. In picture 3 - a pretty chrome and glass 50's candy dish 4.5".
Very Val? I hope you enjoy more of my plastic obsession.
