Wow, Auction House Gods were good to me today ! This Beautiful Historical Joint Photograph between The Spanish War Veterans and The American Legion from Allenton And Reading Penn. It measures 32 x 8 inches. I wanted to show some of the details in this photograph, the Vet's, The old Cars. The Whole picture is just a walk thru History.

Very Cool. At the time of the photograph, American Legion membership was limited to WWI veterans, so this is the coming together of two distinct generations of vets.

The American Legion would open it's membership up to veterans of all wars in 1946

Chrisnp, wow, interesting. So all the other guys in the photograph , WWI veterans along with the bandmembers and the Spanish American war vets. I also researched the American Legion post, it was named after the first local casualty hero of WWI, Herbert Paul Lentz. Thanks for the information!!!
