Whitefriars 9inch Bark vase.
So tactile, so heavy it's omg gorgeous.
A little dirty on the inside from being on a shelf for years.
Whitefriars sticker on the base, nice pontil and a willing member of our Whitefriars family.

Great find - Whitefriar's did this texture better than most that's for sure.
Love this!! It finally looks something like my little blue dish. Couldn't find anything close to it in the shops. I'm not jealous that your piece is bigger than mine but I think it's a great example. (LOL)
When I saw this I googled Whitefriar's and I think that has to be what my dish is. And I got the red summoso that also comes up on Whitefriar's just about a week apart. Thank you for sharing.
Lovely piece.
Raven head glass copied the design, but their version was cheap and light.
If we find our "Treasure" , what do we then look for?
The next one I guess.
I will always be amazed at the brilliance and clarity of this particular piece.
Such treasures will be here far longer than us.
We have to make sure it is appreciated and valued as art.
