I think I'm lit by the insects fever of Kyra. Hence, again a new one in my nest. When I bought for quite 10 dollars I thought it would be copper and a yellow stone. Because this brooch and wings are so beautiful, I have the acid test done for silver (the top is yellow gold and the bottom of the brooch silver colored). And as you can see on the test image it's the silver to be precisely silver gilt on top the back is silver.
But what kind of stone? I have no idea, it could be Citrine, Glass or Amber anyway but beautifully cut into triangles. And this is it a fly or a cicada. Who knows may say.

Cicada. The gem looks like amber to me. Can you see bits and pieces of stuff suspended inside?

Efesgirl, thanks for your answer. Indeed think to see and placed a new image (number 3) to show this. What do you think, thanking you in advance for your time and comment.

You're welcome! Amber also feels warm and a bit like a piece of plastic in comparison to other gems.
