    I had this interesting pot that is labeled on the bottom from Morocco, about 3 years ago from a friend. I don't know any story with it, nor do I know of its age, nor do I know if it has any value. A couple things that I do know about it, is that it's from Morocco, and the metal on the pot which completely surrounds it, is brass encased around a hand painted pottery porcelain type material that is completely originally hand painted. All colors are original and it is in fantastic shape. Also enclosed in this post you will see a close up of the handiwork. The piece is 15 inches tall with a cover, and approximately 10 inches in diameter. I'm not looking to get rid of it, just looking to see what I could insure it for.

      It's an interesting pot. Take it to someone and find out if that is a base metal or a low grade silver.

      it's a beautiful Moroccan faience, maiolica or talavera pot! really nice!
