This is a nice bowl signed Clark. Clark and Quaker City cut some of the finest pin wheel patterns during the American cut glass era. Notice how close the fans are cut to each other on the pinwheel, this is a sign of a well cut piece. This bowl dates from around 1910 or so. Clark also cut other great patterns during the American cut glass period.

Hey Shannon I love it also.. However, the Pinwheel pattern is not extremely popular with cut glass collectors. Their loss!

      Thanks for looking.....................Mark

Beautiful piece! However, I'm curious why the 'pinwheel' pattern isn't very desired by most collectors? Any special reason that you know of?

I think I too may have a piece like this one........same pattern of pinwheel and am currently trying to identify my piece, when I saw yours. Does 'Clark & Quaker City' pieces have any makers mark, or identifying marks at all??

Thanks for sharing your piece and hopefully what little info I now have, I can identify mine! Not finding many of the pinwheel design!

I like the pinwheel. It seems to have a softer elegance. Just my opinion :)
