another cool find from Urban Ore in Berkeley. really nice condition and graphics. i don't know anything about model trains, so would love to learn anything i can about this piece. i like it as a stand-alone conversation piece in a book case or somewhere.

Appears to be a marx model train tender circa 1950's.

You have a lithograph Marx Train tender for a electric Marx Stream train.
Made from 1953-1955. It should have a 551 number on it. That is the model number.
This tender type is know as the( commodore Vanderbilt wagon top.)
It's a common found tender, not rare.
This Marx tender has the most lithograph of all the 551 tenders.
