Gold filled 1930's-40's? serpent bracelet, coils comfortably on wrist. 16mm wide head and interesting tail finial. I love Egyptian jewelry and will post some more of my humble collection (no Max Neiger beads darn it!).

The pictures show some grey but the actual color is bright gold. The only wear is inside which shows bronzey brown metal wear on snake's head.
It's nicer than the Whiting & Davis examples and very similar to Forstner 1/20 12k gf 1940's bracelet currently on etsy.

There used to be vintage metal Snake belts too -- but I think they were just metal. I used to have one in my stuff I had, but it is long gone. Would make a nice set with this piece -- if one can find one

Hi Mike - I love that movie too w/beautiful Liz and Richard that almost bankrupted 20th Century Fox. The costumes by Irene Sharaff, Vittorio Novarese and Renie Conley won Academy award. And Joseff of Hollywood designed the jewelry and other accessories - Most amazing work - a visual treat to watch.
