    (202 items)

Ive been in the storage area (cave) and wanted to share some Kralik pieces from my collection. Attributing pieces to one maker or another is not the most fun part of collecting (buying and hoarding is) so I wont be too defensive if one of you good collectors disagrees with my Kralik attribution- Enjoy!!

    Pic 1
These are satin glass with a ruffled "marbled" interior decor- Zipper decor is the new name for them.
I still haven't pinned down the maker

    Pic 2
These are all the giants in the collection with some Iris, Bambus, confetti, etc...All these guys are between 14" and 16". I have seen Czech "End of Day" (confetti) pieces up to 24" but I don't assume they were made by Kralik

    Pic 3
    A. Cased decor with cobalt stars over confetti- Unknown maker
    B. Cased decor with zebra canes (these were glass pieces with multiple layers of black and white- Probably Kralik
    C. A glossy marbled piece similar to pic 2- Unknown maker

    Pic 4
14" pull-up pieces with metal bases made by Kralik

      Hi Jericho, Really Nice Stuff....

I do not know who did them, but I do not believe the pair in image 1, or the third example in the third image are Kralik. Cool pieces though.

Also, the décor on the blue vase in image 2, top row right end, is one that was on my website as a Kralik example in ball vases, but was removed as the décor was identified as being Harrach production.

All wonderful and it goes with the territory to have one or two unknowns, doesn't it? I agree that the millefiori vase in (3) looks like a Welz shape - but with such a simple shape I wouldn't know. The fact it had murrine would tend me to Kralik or Ruckl - sometimes the murrine are very distinctive but I am not sure about these.

      A great post.
