This base is for the Slewed Horseshoe punch bowl, which is fairly rare, as I have looked everywhere for one like it with no luck. It's a very heavy piece of glass with a sawtooth edge, and is quite beautiful.

the pattern was highly reproduced by Smith and Indiana Glass as 'Pinwheel and Star'; tho' not sure about the punch stand in this exact form. Have you checked with UV light and is there wear commensurate with age for original EAPG?

Under replacements.com I have found it again under Slewed Horseshoe (clear) by U.S. Glass, 1908 -1920, and again on google as slewed horseshoe by Hawkes.
      Thanks for your input

yup, USG was the originator of the pattern as #15111 Peacock c1908: aka: Slewed Horseshoe, Radiant Daisy.

THV, your stand was not part of the sets which were reproduced. This stand was originally sold with a deep 10" bowl called an orange bowl by the company, as well as a flared 12" punch bowl (ref: USGCo. 1919 export catalog). Avoid any cupped punch bowls--no evidence they were part of the original production. They were made and heavily marketed by Smith and Indiana, same with the large under plates which were flattened from the punch bowls. They are not original either.
