    Found this, this weekend at a garage sale and found it interesting but know nothing about it other than it's Egyptian looking.

      I think it's more Greek in design ... Is it marked on the back? The Romans also did this type of ware. It's called the 'black figure method' .... originally done in Corinth.

      Note that the English words FLUTE PLAYER are on the left and I think it's APOLLON on the right. The colours suggest modern manufacture too, I think. I really love these pieces.
