I have a set of seven large amethyst heavy glass tumblers and six smaller darker (black amethyst?) glass tumblers. They are footed with a petal base with no markings that I can see. They have beading at the bottom of the glass above the stem. Very beautiful. I have looked on many websites to try to identify them. Does anyone know the manufacturer and how old they may be? Thanks.

Thank you so much. I didn't think about that country. Were you able to find out more on them?

I finally found them online. These are Franciscan Madeira made by the Tiffan glass company. They come in different colors.

There are indeed Tiffin Madeira glasses. I worked at Tiffin Glass and pulled so many of these off the production line I still see them in my sleep 40 yrs. later.
