I'm a great fan of the Mumfords work, I have a brooch and ring on CW at the moment. I decided to put a batch of their work in this post, there are 4 brooches and 2 pair of earrings. The largest brooch has a large rose quarts ( I think) there are several lines running though the stone, at first I thought the stone was cracked, looking at the brooch closely I think the Mumfords made it in this way. The brooch in the middle looks like a musical quaver. My personally opinion of the Mumfords work is that they were very talented, their work flows with their leaves and twirls and twisted wires, it looks very simple but I'm sure a lot of thought went into making their pieces. The back of their work is very neat,
There are 2 pieces that are marked silver, no markers Mark which is a pain but their work is very distinctive.

Hi Kyra thanks for your nice comment, I have a couple more Mumford pieces to put on CW a ring, and really lovely Brooch, a friend of mine is replacing the original large moss agate stone. He did replace the original cracked moss agate, but he didn't like the stone. While he was up in Scotland he scoured the shops and managed to find a stone which he thought was close to the original. The original stone had green veins and a lot of red. So now I wait. I'm always on the look out for Mumford pieces, sometimes they come along, but not often.
Hi Valentino, I've looked through your postings, no you don't have any, but you do have some lovely things. I mentioned above Mumford pieces are not easy to come by.
