Structo Airline service truck. Nice original condition except homemade windshield. Missing mirrors and horn, but will probably never add them. Not much more to say about it, but have to ramble on because there is a minimum word count on this site. ;)

Thanks AZTom . I find Structo has the best paint in the business. Not sure what they added to the paint, or maybe the curing process, but most Structos seem to survive the years without the crazing and rust that plagued Marx toys steel trucks.

What did you use to replace the windshield?
      Very nice truck!

I think they reproduce the windshield for this one. I know they make the horns and mirrors.

Hi pickrknows. I used plastic packaging from some usb cord plastic packaging. It just happened to be clean, scratch free and flat with no stickers. Just cut it approx the size leaving enough material for the tabs to sit in. Bent the ends a bit and stuck it in. Was just going to be my template, but just left it in. Will do a better one and trim sides a bit, but looks ok from a few feet away.

AZTom. Correct. Can get windshields, horn and mirrors for this cab style and corvair ramp trucks, but I am cheap. Figured in shipping and parts and decided I could buy another cool toy instead.

I work at a KW truck dealership and am known for my usage of O-ring seals for tires on Corgi toys, etc. Amazing how many little parts at my work are usefull on toy restos.
