Garage sale find of the day. Box containing lots of early childrens books. This one caught my eye, near perfect condition a tad dirty though. There is writing on the first page. Presently looking to see if it can be removed.
This was one of my most favorite books when I was young! I left it at home after I got married and my Mom told me a couple of years later that she gave that and all my other books to the Salvation Army. I was upset, and asked her why didn't call me to ask if there were any favorites that I wanted to keep? I didn't talk to her for two weeks and then got over it.
