Trio of common Tomte Mercedes 190' s. Made in Stavanger, Norway. Rubber. Said to be so safe , you can chew on them, I haven't tried, as it would ruin the good quality detail.
Sometimes it is just fun to set toys up and see what kind of pictures can be created. Have a few more various Tomte Laerdal cars, but they would have ruined picture composition. I am always on the lookout for more of these. Some great VW, Citroen, Land rovers. So many to choose, in so many colours, and never chipped paint to worry about.

These are nice little cars. I think they are more vinyl than rubber though.

I did a photo shoot of some of mine not too long ago. A few are marked Tomte but the others, although the same were made in Taiwan. Do you have any info on this company?

True Tom. Vinyl is more accurate. Never seen the Taiwan issues. Cancel the chewing on them statement from original description for those ones might be a good idea. I will check a collection I see at an antique market. There is about 25 pcs. I will see if any are Taiwan issue.
