Beautiful handpainted flowered branches and butterflies on Silk . They are reframed cheaply and I know they deserve better ; the framed pictures were a thrift item rescued by me several years ago and I have not done them justice by having them placed in nicer frames . They are signed but again I do not understand the markings , but am appreciative of any information anyone may be able to provide .

Hi Lovely Pat. Very nice & VERY similar! So alike it's odd the signatures are different. They're even both mounted onto material! I've found a few since your suggestions, all alike, some with birds others insects, all with flowers. I read they have meaning & symbolise different things, but don't know what, sorry, maybe someone will know :)
