I've decided for my New Years resolution not to buy anymore brooches I have far too many, lol. This brooch was being sold has maybe Dorrie Nossiter or Sybil Dunlop, in my opinion it is former. I do have another Dorrie Nossiter brooch on one of my posts, that one is very bright and feisty, this one is more subtle. There are Moonstones, Aquamarines and Peridots all in bezel mounts. The frame comprises of two wires twisted together in a circle. Within these are the stones, silver leaves, berries and swirls. The back of the brooch is extremely neat, unfortunately no marks.
Many thanks for looking. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Hi Jean. I think you may have outbid me on this!

Phooey. Brooches are good buying at the moment because they are not as popular as they used to be. It's always smart to buy where the prices are competitive. You never know when you'll not be able to source them and I have bough some cracker in the past year.

Hi Jewels1900, so you also was bidding on the same brooch, it went down to the wire. I would love to see the earrings. I have a chance to buy another Dorrie Nossiter brooch, do you think I should go ahead and buy it, the price in my opinion Is reasonably, it's just I have so many brooches. I see Kyra and wjp say you can never have enough brooches. Also, you do have a good point that in the future you'll not be able to source certain pieces.
