Okay, I bought this for $15.00 in 1980. It isn't in very good condition but I fell in love with the style and craftsmanship. The venire is mostly lifted and cracked off, the posts that hold up the top shelf that folds over are gone. The legs screw (huge long & thick screws) off to make it flat and easy to move. And they are some pretty legs at that. It has several slots to store small office supplies, glasses or pens. There is a small drawer in the center that is pretty deep and one large shallow drawer underneath the desk where I inserted a black organizer tray. It also has a leaf that can be pulled out and extend the desk shelf a foot. That's all I can tell you about this once lovely piece. Like all of my antiques, I use it daily.I cover the cracks with a nice runner and I set picture frames and an old iron as a paper weight on it and ithe hides some of the ugly. He he he. I often get compliments on it, even as bad as it is, it still turns heads. I set my laptop on it and it makes a perfect work desk to keep me organized

Ray, I haven't tbe slightest idea. I don't think mine has much worth other than the personal value I have for it. I suppose if the laminate and all if it was in good shape- it would be more valuable. Post a picture of yours. Is it in good shape?

Looks like a spinet desk. Called that because it looks like the spinet piano.
