I've posted some of these before - beautiful signed Matisse-Renoir copper enamel bangles from the 1950's. They were made in 3 sizes: 1/4", 5/8" and 1" in red, navy, white, turquoise, brown, green with beautiful mottled 2 or 3 color enamels in some of them. Pictured here - a few have been restored because these tend to chip if they are banged around. (The 1" denim, both of the narrow green and the fabulous 5/8" red.)
Enameled earrings and necklaces don't have these same chipping problems as the domed bangles or other enamel panel bracelets. When I wear these I put 1/8" laquer, cinnabar or horn bangles between since they're made of softer materials and make a nice vintage buffer.
I'm surprised there isn't a category for Matisse, Renoir or other copper designers.
