First of all I want to say sorry for the bad photos. I have some problem with my camera and the computer program for my pictures.
This is a rather large, over 10 inches, vase. The vase seems to be hand-cut glass. I have seen many similar ones on line and believe the pattern is rather common. The only problem I have is dating the vase. Items like this seem to have been made since the early 1900’s and some seem to be rather recent. Because there is no mark or sticker on my vase, I need a different way to date it. Maybe it could be done by looking at the cut or shape of the vase?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've asked people from CW how to fix the photo problem - a lot of sore necks here from looking at sideways, and upside down photos.

Gillian ... Edit each pic you have ... Just slightly adjust the size ... It should then right itself when loaded.
This is really lovely freiheit :) Happy New Year as well ! ...... @ Gillian....I have the same problem every once and a while. Not sure why cameras do that but, if you open your photos in the Windows Picture Viewer on your desktop first and then rotate them to an upright position they will stay than way when you post them.

Gillian, thanks for your comment. I think it is my fault. I have this program called Picasso and I don't know how to handle it. I can edit my pics but I don't know how to safe and use them:(

This does look quite similar to mine Freiheit :).... although this shape is a bit more elaborate. Look for greyish wear and scratches to the bottom's edge. That would usually indicate some age. -Mike-
Thanks for your comment, Mike. Mine is in excellent condition. There are only a few minor scratches. I guess that means that it might be not too old. My vase does have, however, some age to it because of the dirt -LOL
It took me many, many days to clean it. The hollow bottom of the vase was very difficult to clean. I didn't want to use harsh cleaners or rough tools to get the dirt and dust out.
