Moved into a house on a river and found this in the basement. I have no idea what it is. It says "Stereopticon" on it along with G.I. Newtown NY.
I looked up "stereopticon" but see nothing that looks like it. I thought it was a fog light. Does anyone know what this is?
Left by aliens to confuse us . Welcome to CyberAsylum, aka CW. Give us time before we give up ! LOL! Somebody here will probably know what it is. (They may be alien)

A stereopticon is a slide projector or "magic lantern", which has two lenses, usually one above the other.
I looked the word up but don't see any that look like this. I see hand held stereopticons but none as big as this. Now sure what it's purpose was or what to do with it.
So I take it I shouldn't scrap it but rather find someone who appreciates it?
You can still use it as a fog light ! LMAO !!!!
