We are curious as to what it is. The handles are out of centre allowing a space between the rounded faces, and close tightly when pulled together. Possibly for pulling flat, narrow material?

Thanks Thomas . The warehouse we found this in was a Coca Cola bottling plant several years ago. There are a lot of odd old tools in there still. One was an electric barrel opener that looked like a big can opener, possibly from the 50's judging by the design. The current owner knows quite a bit about most of the odds n ends that we found, but this one seems to have everyone stumped.

Tape Clamp Handle. Do a Google Image search.
