This is a Art Deco 9ct gold Moonstone necklace and bracelet (suite). The chain has the markers Mark M & M which I think stands for James Woodward and Wilfred Mole they traded has Manton & Mole they made quality gold chains, but I haven't seen any jewellery made by them. The moonstones cabs are of excellent quality, the blue hue colours are wonderful. I would love to know more about these two pieces, if anybody could give me some information that would be great, I'm not sure if the box is original to these pieces, as you can see the name is Garrard & CO LTD
Many thanks for looking.
What lovely jewels!
Awwesome moonstones! Love your new beauty!
Quite beautiful!
Very beautiful! I'm green of envy...
What a beautiful swag of moonstones.
Hi Jean, lovely pieces and it looks like a spectacular set.
Garrards is one of the great British jewellery companies, they were the crown jewellers to the Royal Family from 1843 to 2007, which meant they maintained the crown jewels kept in the Tower of London, and they made many famous jewels for the Royals.
It the pieces are original to Garrards I would expect they would be perfectly fitted to the box which would be custom made specially for them.
Hi Paul, the person I bought these from aquirred these pieces from a house clearance. There was also a pair of earrings which were damaged and a brooch. They are really lovely pieces, I'm really not sure of the box:-( thanks for your comments.
Thank you Efesgirl, Kyra, jscott, Elisabethan and Karen for passing and leaving your gracious comments.
I imagine these are amazing to wear. I recently bought a pair of earrings that have moonstones, a not so great example of them sadly, BUT...I have to say, they are so interesting! These look perfect and would love to see some close up, like on my wrist!!!
stunning!!!!!
Lol shareurpassion, on your wrist. They are very nice, I wish now I'd have bought the earrings and brooch. Thanks for your lovely comment shareurpassion your very welcome to come to Spain and try them on.

Beauties. Thanks for sharing.
I keep coming back to these, they are gorgeous! I wonder if they are Arts and Crafts era, and a bit earlier than deco?
Thank you wpj, for you gracious comment, I'm more than happy to share :-))
Hi themuse, thanks for your comment, it's interesting that you think these pieces could be Art and Crafts. Pass by anytime. :-)

Good evening,
this set was sold on Ebay in 2015 I know this because I nearly bought it myself anyway congratulations on the purchase its a lovely period piece.
Hi spartan, thank you for passing by, yes you are correct I bought them on eBay in 2015, my sad regret is I didn't buy the matching earrings and the brooch.
I bought the earrings for my grandmother
but I don't know what happened to the scorpion broach, they are quite easy to come by if I see one I will let you know if you wish? If you ever decide to sell the pendant then let me know i may decide to surprise the old lady.
my best
spartan
I do have a scorpion brooch but with Opals. I really don't want anymore brooches lol. It was touch and go with the earrings, I do now wished I'd bought them, but it's nice to know there've got to a good home.
I love this pendant and bracelet, but If I ever consider selling which I don't think I will, I'll let you know:-)
Many thanks
lisa
