Thinking today turned out to be a good day finding this. It is 2" wide and less than 3" long. Its size and décor made me notice it. The ribbed sides and perfect condition made me like it. The embossed Japan made me love it. I think it's a bedside ring/earrings dish. Not positive on that though.
