Strange Vintage Vase Abstract Lady Studio Art Pottery Mid Century

Greetings!
My wife and I have this strange, or weird, pottery woman. We can find no information about her. She appears to be hand built. She is large at 20"tall 9"wide and weights around 20 lbs. Looks like "COLO" signed on the back of her neck. Any help you can give will be much appreciated! I may not be able to respond to all comments, but want to say thank you in advance for your help.
