I just found this one last week. I nearly decided not to purchase, glad I gave in. The folded hammered edges adds a folkie looks. The brass inlay are a very nice touch. No information as to where it was possibly made. I believe it to be 10+ years old? Not sure the significance of the numbers in the circles. It is a different piece for me and I would like to learn a little more about it, if anyone has an idea of origin.

This is older than 10 years. My guess is late 40's-70's. Someone w/more copper experience will chime in hopefully. I love copper and collect it too. Will post for comments later.

It isn't a cheap metal anymore - but it used to be. There were working copper mines from New Mexico to Michigan until the early 1980's! If you drove thru those states and further on a car trip to the west there were many handmade and "factory-made" copper items to purchase a long the way.

Also meant to add that copper and brass were popular home craft metals.
