Found the nice 1930's red and cream beads online (in pic 3 top) but I didn't like the redo. African glass tube beads and a 70's barrel clasp....sorry, not right - nice, but not for me. I looked at one I did a few years ago (which I didn't like either) and tearing that one apart remade the necklace to a longer, more wearable 19" length. The glass zig-zag beads are probably Czech or "Bohemian", ditto smaller 7mm faceted red and cream. Tiny size 15 faceted steel-cut beads from an old 1920's damaged purse and a very nice bronze ribbed screw clasp - I think I like the result. I always have to leave my creations alone for awhile before I like them.
Today I have a big report due for work and in typical Val mode, I am not doing the report until the final drastic moment.... Ha - no this redo took longer than a few hours today. It was last rainy Saturday's project.
Hope you enjoy my Valitization - that's not easy to spell Kyra....
