I'm hoping someone can help me identify this piece. I'm fairly new at collecting pottery/crocks but I came across this piece and had to have it. I believe it's made in the East somewhere, maybe Pennsylvania. Could it be Swank? It's approximately 11" tall x 9.5" wide and almost 6" at the mouth. It has a handle on each side. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you

Is the house image glazed under or painted on after?

It's hard to tell but it appears that it is glazed.

It will be interesting to see what the pottery people here have to say.

I usually find my stoneware in this shape:

But that's the life of a digger. All the good pieces in pieces.
