I don't know a great deal about this jewellery Simpson began a company in the 40s Simpson Originals making quality costume jewellery including gold and silver plated pieces also later he worked for Jewel Crest and in the 70s he created "gay charm "costume jewellery my grandmother also had some gay charm jewellery-I believe my grandmother hosted a couple of jewellery parties similar to avon and she received the jewellery as a gift for hosting the partys I will post the gay charm shortly if you like
