This is a green satin glass powder box with a little guy playing the guitar or lute on top. I love this unique piece. Not sure of the maker.

Thanks TallCakes I was wondering if it was LE Smith but I was not sure. Your knowledge is always greatly appreciated. I can't thank you enough for helping me learn more about old glass. Thanks!!

One of the glass experts on here will straighten me out, but I think this style of powder jar is known as "Annette" by L. E. Smith, 1930s.

Sir TallCakes, is the style generally known as Annette, or is that another one of those Internetz mess-ups? I see this glass IDed all the time as Annette.

we all kinda learn together... I think is was Weatherman who said this was in the 1930 Montgomery Ward catalog.

Oh do I miss Monkey Warts, lol. Shopped there all my life, and worked there as a young female. :)
