Happy to report after catching the Small Trout Fish Clock I changed my Bait on my rod and look what I landed. The daddy of Trout.
Yes here for your attention is the most finely detailed lustre of colours beautiful depicting the Jema Holland Large Trout Fish Clock numbered 471.
He towers over his son previously showcased (410).
He comes with a medium sized wind up mechanism once again being German made.
I do believe a lot of the original German mechanisms passed away in these clocks and rather than getting them repaired some owners simply replaced them with a new mechanism that just happened to fit. I base that on the different patterns and Names attached to some mechanisms.
As you will see in pic 3 the mechanism in this clock says"Walt". Others have the name "Diane", whilst others just say made in Germany.
I will showcase just mechanisms in another "Show and Tell" for those who may be interested.
I have one more Fish Clock to add in this weeks round coming shortly.
