That finish or top is called a crown finish and does not prove what was in the bottle. The C may stand for cunningham co. or consolidated fruit jar co. according to the book "Bottle Makers And Their Marks." I would love to know what was in them. They are very unusual. Nice bottles!

These were used for testing the Coca-Cola syrup mixture. This bottle is from the 1940's. Coca-Cola used these bottles in the lab to test syrup mixture and quality. Very common and not worth more than $25 each. Not highly collected either, since they are pretty generic with no Coca-Cola markings.
