I picked this up at Goodwill yesterday along with the Simon Gate Orrefors bowl. It has an interesting shape and design. The hypnotic orange stripe winds around a pale turquoise bottle shape. The top is a bit thicker than the body and it has some weight to it. The bottom has a substantial wear ring and a rough pontil within a turquoise dot on the bottom. Obviously hand made but no marks or labels to ID it. Still I think it's a well made piece that has some age to it. -Mike-

Thanks Kyra and Sean.... @ Kyra..that's Mitzi. I got her from a Scottie rescue shelter when she was three. She'll be twelve in June. The average age for this breed is eleven so she's beating the odds. Never barks maybe a growl if she hears something but that's it. She was in a puppy mill so maybe that's why, some sort of trauma. Very atypical of the breed. She loves children and even other animals from her two feline buddies to the squirrels in the backyard...lol :)
Your description of this piece is very (I'm running on fumes here) interesting. You should write a book. If I can sleep for more than a couple hours at once with crazy cat.....my comment might be different. ;)

Thanks OGF....yes I have two crazy cats and they want me up by 2 AM to be feed. Mitzi will sleep through the night but she does get up when I do eats breakfast with the cats and then the all go back to sleep. So that's why I'm on CW by 3 AM with a cup of coffee. Time flies when you're having fun...lol. :)
