    I thought this may be an ashtray or trinket dish. Stamped MOREWOOD at the bottom and item made of brass. Anyone have more information.Thanks.

      I had one like this many years ago - the face of a Pekinese. There doesn't seem to be any information on a metal works company named Morewood.
